Professional Carpet Cleaning Services in Upper Arlington, OH

Upper Arlington has some of the oldest housing stock we work in, and that changes almost everything about how we clean. Under a lot of that carpet is original hardwood, and hardwood and water do not mix. We keep the moisture right down and get the floor properly dry, because a cupped or stained board costs far more to put right than any carpet cleaning saves.
Wool and oriental rugs are the other Upper Arlington regular. Wool is not nylon: it is sensitive to heat, to alkaline cleaners and to over-wetting, and the wrong product will strip the dye or leave the pile feeling like straw. We identify the fiber before we touch it, and if a rug really ought to go out for proper immersion washing rather than be cleaned in place, we will tell you that instead of taking the job anyway.
Older houses also mean stairs, often narrow, often with an original runner or a turn at the landing. Those get cleaned by hand rather than dragged over with a wand, because the wand is what wears the nosing and loosens carpet on the treads.
Then there is the plaster, the original trim and the narrow doorways. We run hoses carefully, pad the corners, and treat the house as though it is a hundred years old, because it is.
